Combo list not showing in form layout 22 Mar 2015 08:31 #12888

If I select a field type as Joomla user, it should show a combo list in the form layout, but instead of showing combo list, it is just showing a text field.

Similarly, If I select a field type as Access, it should also show a combo list in form layout, but it is also showing a text field.

I have tried using joomla 3.2, 2.5, 1.7 all are giving the same result in the sand box.

Am I missing something or is it a bug?

This is happening in both Backend and Frontend layouts.

This is a classic one.

In the fields tree, open the node of your FK and take the sub-field to show as label.

That's it.

I jumped and started to work on a demo component... but 2 days later this demo component became the real component. I just showed today the end result to my customer and he turned to me and said... "this is more than I expected"... All of this is because Cook did cut about 70% of my work and provided me more ways to improve the usability of the component. The end result was 17 tables all related between than to generate a full dashboard for the travel agents. Thanks for Cook developers for such great tool. This component would not be possible to be done at short time with all the features in it
