I'm using a Joomla User field in my component to display a users select box, but it is displayed as input text field in both the frontend and backend!

Any help?

When you instance it in the form, open the node (in the fields tree), and choose a sub-level field (ex: username, name, etc...) It will determine which field data to show in the select.

If you don't, Cook cannot know wich data you want to show.

I did it like you say, but it was not work.

I have deleted the field and added it again and it works now.
