Hi @joomlalover28469 & welcome to COOK!

When you say:

where i can create a user and once the user

    Do you mean a;
  1. Standard joomla user OR
  2. A user record in your custom component. I mean, do you want to have to create a user-related record in your component for them to do stuff

    ...once the user is created create items...

    ?
Any specific details you can provide about what you want to do will help. ;)

Also, RE:

but really dont know where to start.

I think that the best place to start is to keep looking around the builder... Work out what functionalities look interesting to you and what you'll need and create a dummy table and fields to experiment with each. Maybe even a bunch of projects for testing... Whilst you're experimenting, search the forum for your requirements - you'll find loads of help/tuts and so on to help you on your way. Good place to start with the forum is here. .

Once you've got a handle on the main features you need, start building your project and ENJOY COOKING! :woohoo:

Hope it's helpful,

Gez

Time to create page: 0.058 seconds

I jumped and started to work on a demo component... but 2 days later this demo component became the real component. I just showed today the end result to my customer and he turned to me and said... "this is more than I expected"... All of this is because Cook did cut about 70% of my work and provided me more ways to improve the usability of the component. The end result was 17 tables all related between than to generate a full dashboard for the travel agents. Thanks for Cook developers for such great tool. This component would not be possible to be done at short time with all the features in it
