Joomla 3.7 Support 21 Mar 2017 13:22 #15052

I know that Joomla 3.7 hasn't yet reached candidate release, but just like many Joomla users, I've been trying it out. Because I want to use the new custom fields functionality of Joomla 3.7 along with a j-cook component I've created, I've installed my j-cook component into my 3.7 testing site. These are the things I've notice so far:
-The component installs, but you get a jloader 500 error when trying to access the component in the back end. I was able to amend things to get it working
-The calendar field type doesn't seem to be working 'calendar is not defined'- seems like a weird thing to break- I haven't been able to fix this, but I hope once 3.7 support is added to j-cook that this is corrected.
Have you started looking at 3.7 support yet, or are you leaving that until it's been released? I only ask because I want to press forward with my project as soon as 3.7 is released (The custom fields aspect of the new Joomla already seems to have many unanswered questions/quirks).
Cheers
Andy

I found "cook" two days ago. Played around with it for a day and then within a day got rid of two legacy applications in IBM Lotus Domino Notes and replaced them with "cook". It was really easy. A piece of cake. Actually it was even easier than cooking. Cooking involves more work than developing with "cook". What can I say about "cook"? Great application great price for what it delivers great forum with a lot of information and fast responses active and friendly community fast forward moving development cycle So what should I say "Monsieur Le Cook"? Keep the good work going it will lead to success. Having become a paying member in the words of Edith Piaf may I say ..... non rien de rien ... je ne regrette rien. Vive La France.
