Can you add a collection view to a brick in a fly? 05 Jul 2015 06:15 #13307

Is there any way you can add a collection view to a fly view?

I have a fly view with a number of bricks. I want to be able to show a collection view on one of these bricks. Is that possible?

The collection view is called outstandingitems ...

I've tried IFraming, include and getcontent options in the fly with little luck.

Any help appreciated..

Hello,
What about a simple access to the data with the help of
docs.joomla.org/Accessing_the_database_using_JDatabase ?
Would it be enough or do you need more ?

Sorry, docs.joomla.org/Selecting_data_using_JDatabase
this is better place to get what you want.
Also used some kind of table javascript script that allows for sorting out the data in the table.
Let me know what you think of it.

Thanks, being a novice I appreciate any and all advice. I will be a while on feedback on how it goes, I understand sql code so looks really good.
