Is there a way to filter by a custom User feild? 12 Mar 2020 21:50 #15800

If I have added a custom user Feild into the joomla feilds table in Users. " Using the Stardard Joomla User Feilds"

What is the most direct way to filter ( only see users entries with the same entry in that feild). I know you can simply filter by user and write this directly into a model.
I am wanting to use the feild data fo filter user views based on what they have in the custom feild.

Hope that makes sense.

If I have uderstood you well, you want to limit visibility of records to the particular users?

doest it solve your problem:
-add joomla users to only 1 group
-in cook add to table wizard "View acces"
-modify record save function
--get users group
--save users group to "access" field
?
