windows, firefox 8, joomla 1.7 sandbox

on my thaigardenplants project, if I run in the sandbox, the backend is all working fine, but all layouts have disappeared from the front end.

It was working fine until I created a new frontend grid on one of the tables.

how would I go about fixing this?

thanks

Are you logged in front sandbox ?
(Try to log out / Log in)

Are they working by the url ?

Are your layouts present if you download your component.

On my side all seems Ok.
Do you still have the problem ?
Coding is now a piece of cake

Hi, yes, it was in the front end sandbox, and I did try logging in and back out a couple of times. But please do not worry about that project, it was just a test anyway. I will now begin work on the real one as and when I find the time.

but thanks anyway

For starters it's just so easy to design an app in a way that I'm used to i.e. database first then views followed by customization. The fork system is pure brilliance from a developer standpoint as I can override things and still add and update my projects with minimal effort! Truly amazing to be able to build components in Joomla using incremental refinement without having to do everything by hand. Thanks for the great tool! I am so much more productive now than ever and I can't imagine building components any other way!!!!
