Hi all,

So I started to update the components code for Joomla 4.x compatibility, first step with JDom I use as Plugin. (docs.joomla.org/J4.x:Creating_a_Plugin_for_Joomla/fr)
I am writing the doto list code to change for lastbuild j-cook source. But now I've a problem to load the JDom Plugin (getInstance).

admin/helpers/loader.php
+ use Joomla\CMS\Factory;
+ use Joomla\CMS\Plugin\PluginHelper;
.
. PluginHelper::importPlugin('system', 'jdom'); // here no php error
. JDom::getInstance(); // here return error 'Class JDom not found'

It seems that importPlugin doesn't load the plugin at all.
I wanted to know if someone have ever done this job or an idea :unsure:

Marc.

This is what you call a component builder. I was able to master using this in a very short time and the resulting component works like a charm. Not just a basic component builder but a fully working component builder with forms fields tables all ready to go. You can make the list and item views to display in the front and back end. Also there is a great forum just starting to evolve and I'm sure this will grow very rapidly when you all realise how good this tool is.
