Hi there

i have a form with lots of fields

about 50% of them relate to one subject matter and 50% another. In a previous version of the component i had the fields in 2 columns and the end user wants it like that still

how with j cook could i do that - is it possible without hacking ? or with minimal hacking ?

(ie for example instead of calling : $fieldSet = $this->form->getFieldset('resourceitem.form'); would it be possible to get a subset of the fields as oppose to all of them )

If you should Exploded, then it is not the best because if you want to ad fields, then you need to change 2 files (template file, because exploded) If you do not need exploded, don't use it. For starters it's just so easy to design an app in a way that I'm used to i.e. database first then views followed by customization. The fork system is pure brilliance from a developer standpoint as I can override things and still add and update my projects with minimal effort! Truly amazing to be able to build components in Joomla using incremental refinement without having to do everything by hand. Thanks for the great tool! I am so much more productive now than ever and I can't imagine building components any other way!!!!
