Hi there

i have a form with lots of fields

about 50% of them relate to one subject matter and 50% another. In a previous version of the component i had the fields in 2 columns and the end user wants it like that still

how with j cook could i do that - is it possible without hacking ? or with minimal hacking ?

(ie for example instead of calling : $fieldSet = $this->form->getFieldset('resourceitem.form'); would it be possible to get a subset of the fields as oppose to all of them )

If you should Exploded, then it is not the best because if you want to ad fields, then you need to change 2 files (template file, because exploded) If you do not need exploded, don't use it. This is what you call a component builder. I was able to master using this in a very short time and the resulting component works like a charm. Not just a basic component builder but a fully working component builder with forms fields tables all ready to go. You can make the list and item views to display in the front and back end. Also there is a great forum just starting to evolve and I'm sure this will grow very rapidly when you all realise how good this tool is.
