JDom legacy not working for me 13 Jan 2015 19:26 #12815

for some reason, I can't get my component to build JDom in legacy mode. I've set the option to "integated" but it still builds/downloads JDom as an extension. Is this option still supported? (I have an older component that used JDom as a plugin and I don't want to have it break (and then have to debug) that component.

Thanks!
Dave

Really ?

I will check that as soon as I can, but for the moment I am writing a long version and I cannot upgrade now anyways.
Workaroud :
Just download it in plugin, and move the dom folder in the admin root of your component.
It should work, because you can always override JDom even if you have it installed as plugin.
It means also that all you old components with embeded JDom can run normally even when the plugin is installed.

Hope it helps.

Amazing Tool !
And only tool I know that allows complete Scaffolding in terms of component creation. It really saves loads of time (actually much more than that). Simple architecture enables quick and painless changes at any time. Code is clean and consintent. It's just... what's the word... neat! :) Great work! You should definetely try this one!
