I have a table called PINSOCIALS

It has a front end view called MANAGESOCIALS which is set as default

When you are on this view, the SEF looks like

{websiteroot)/pinsocials/default

I add or edit a new record the system wants to go back to

/pinsocials/managesocials

which is giving a page not found error as it SHOULD be going back to /pinsocials/default

I suspect this is not limited to just the one project, but activly tested in anything else yet

I can work around this, but its a little annoying

TO fix this I created a dummy collection view and set that as default

I then deleted this view meaning NO default was set

The original problematic grid is now called {websiteroot)/pinsocials/managesocials which now gets around the issue

I could have also got around this by renaming the managesocials view to default of course

Fixed.

For the tests, I setted your layout MANAGESOCIALS as default as before, and it works
Coding is now a piece of cake

Time to create page: 0.385 seconds

For starters it's just so easy to design an app in a way that I'm used to i.e. database first then views followed by customization. The fork system is pure brilliance from a developer standpoint as I can override things and still add and update my projects with minimal effort! Truly amazing to be able to build components in Joomla using incremental refinement without having to do everything by hand. Thanks for the great tool! I am so much more productive now than ever and I can't imagine building components any other way!!!!
