Tests after Component Update from 2.8.7 => 2.9.1:

I have detected a problem with thumbs creation with an Item.

Image name : diamant-f6.jpg
Items thumb (50x50) => ok. ( _diamant-f6.jpg-50x50-cm.jpg )
Item thumb (0x250) => nok ( _diamant-f6.jpg-c.jpg ) instead of (_diamant-f6.jpg-0x250-c.jpg )

Note that resized file "_diamant-f6.jpg-c.jpg" is higher than original file size ( 273089 / 98208 )

I 've also tested the component call :
index.php?option=com_jbreeding&task=file&size=0x250&attrs=crop:1&path=[DIR_PEDIGREES_PHOTO]/diamant-f6.jpg

the process creates the thumb, but not resized.

hoping this bug report can help ...

Fixed,

Now it should work better. This is because the Joomla class do not handle the missing sizes, while it has almost all to do it. I have to write few new lines and a new function. Now it retreive automatically the missing size according to the ration proportions.

For the name, It is working back again also.

I tried new tests (11 pm):
sorry but, I have the same behavious in the SandBox and on my localhost, after new download/install package.

Image should be 250px height, but
- the name has changed: _diamant-f6.jpg-x250-c.jpg ( _diamant-f6-0x250-c.jpg ?)
- the file is not resized.

Select a Dog in my SandBox Component to see to trouble ...

The thing is that as admin, I can't see your files in the sandbox, It seems stupid, but it is because they are linked to your user's directory. It is something I could improve, it is just a problem for me.

so I tested in local and it works.

I think I saw another problem that is now fixed.
You can do a last test It should work now.

And you will be more relaxed for your W-E.

For starters it's just so easy to design an app in a way that I'm used to i.e. database first then views followed by customization. The fork system is pure brilliance from a developer standpoint as I can override things and still add and update my projects with minimal effort! Truly amazing to be able to build components in Joomla using incremental refinement without having to do everything by hand. Thanks for the great tool! I am so much more productive now than ever and I can't imagine building components any other way!!!!
