v2.9 | File | Uploads | Images 08 Jul 2016 12:58 #14191

Hi,
I cannot seem to upload a PDF file. It says it only allows jpg, png and gif.

The properties for the field allow it.

Is this a new bug - or is there a setting in Joomla that I need to set?

Cheers :)

As a bug - this has been fixed. Thanks Chef! :)

See www.j-cook.pro/index.php/forum/18-closed...ems-with-file-upload

For others: if you have deactivated the php functions "system" and "shell_exec" on the server, the J-Cook MIME checking won't work. You will need to switch off MIME checking in your J-Cook'ed component configuration settings on your Joomla website.

For starters it's just so easy to design an app in a way that I'm used to i.e. database first then views followed by customization. The fork system is pure brilliance from a developer standpoint as I can override things and still add and update my projects with minimal effort! Truly amazing to be able to build components in Joomla using incremental refinement without having to do everything by hand. Thanks for the great tool! I am so much more productive now than ever and I can't imagine building components any other way!!!!
