Page titles not displaying frontend 15 Jul 2016 13:18 #14264

Hi Chef.

The Page titles are not showing on the rendered Item Layout page - or in the browser titles.

This is also the case in the sandbox - every page is called "Home" - and the browser title is always "Home" for every page.

In the front end of my component - when I am on a collection layout page and I click the "edit" or "new" tool - I don't see my Item Page Title anywhere on the Item Page.
Just call me Chris :)

I have rewrited all this part in the 3.0.1 version (choose : on the edge).

This version 3 ("Less is More") do not handle Joomla 2.5 anymore.

For editing the titles :
- You can define it in the view function
- You can check out the view superclass, and modify, fork
- You can directly change the H1 title, and the browser title on the top of your templates files. (see the parameters sent to the 'title' layout)

Hope it helps.
Coding is now a piece of cake
