[FIXED] config.xml language variable for description 31 May 2012 14:21 #2455

Hi,
I know it's not a serious bug, but I think it's not really normal a language variable like this:

COMPONENTNAME_PARAMS_UPLOAD_DIRECTORYBRBRYOU_CAN_USE_SOME_MARKERS_BRSTRONGROOTSTRONG_JOOMLA_ROOTBRSTRONGCOM_ADMINSTRONG_COMPONENT_ADMIN_ROOTBRSTRONGCOM_SITESTRONG_COMPONENT_SITE_ROOTBRSTRONGADMINSTRONG_ADMINISTRATOR_ROOTBRSTRONGIMAGESSTRONG_SITE_IMAGES_ROOTBRSTRONGMEDIASSTRONG_SITE_MEDIA_ROOT

why is it generated like that?

This is read to build your Default Component params, html tags are used to format the display, and it works ! ...

thanks for the reply Marc, I know it works. the problem is I don't see the need to have a so long variable name.
I would write it:

COMPONENTNAME_PARAMS_UPLOAD_DIRECTORY_INFO

and I'm sure the admin already know this, and probably all this things will be fixed on the next release of the builder.

This is what you call a component builder. I was able to master using this in a very short time and the resulting component works like a charm. Not just a basic component builder but a fully working component builder with forms fields tables all ready to go. You can make the list and item views to display in the front and back end. Also there is a great forum just starting to evolve and I'm sure this will grow very rapidly when you all realise how good this tool is.
