Hi Admin,

I've been trying to add a datetime field type to my table expecting it to appear as a date/time picker in the item layout/form however, it is not doing so. Instead, it always appears as a straight text input.

Please can you help with this?

Many thanks,

Gez

Hi,

are you sure that the field is of type Date Time in the table ?

I have plenty of Date types that display the picker

Hi Arnar,

Yes, definitely... I know that I had them working in a simple test that I did, but for some reason, they're not working for this one model in particular. I started a new project/table in which it works fine.

It must be some sort of bug as I've re-built the fields, re-added them to the views, cleared cache, rebuilt the files and re-installed the component yet, it still does not display a date picker.

Thanks!

Gez

Hi @admin

--ADD--
I remembered, last time I had this issue I had to resort to using separate date and time fields but unfortunately, this is not really an option for me...

Whilst I only have a datetime firld in 1 table at the moment, I'm building a component that's going to have a lot of events, jobs, tasks and other objects that will all require datetime fields...

--/END ADD--

I got this same problem in my project 'project pilot' in the projects table/form view...

I've tried removing the element, re-adding it and regenerating the field however, in admin form, there is a button to click but no date picker appears.

Please help...

Awards for the best Joomla app. This product is gonna win an award for this amazing job. Cook Self Service is the the best application from all over the Joomla universe ! It brings Joomla to a professional level really advanced for developers. It is a real fun to develop with it. The ACL part and security checks implementation are just... so much hours saved. I can now concentrate myself more on the design part and the creative works. Thank you so much. Guys I offer you all my congratulation ! Keep up the works because Joomla is needing it to increase the quality of extensions availables on the JED.
