[FIXED] SERIOUS BUG: Project vanished 13 Aug 2012 13:03 #3134

I have lost my project just by duplicating the tab in firefox...
even after restart all files are lost...
Please help.
I greatly hope you have some kind of backups at your side...
Otherwise your tool as beautiful , powerful etc... as it can be is not professionnal..
Users have no way to save any backup or to keep on a stable release (unless the component by itsself).
Today is not the case:
We can't rely on a tool that is subject to change in the middle of a project..
Users must have total control of their process even of the upgrades !!!!
Please provide a way to do that. (backup and releases controlled at user-level)

P.S. usually paid users have some kind of support ... in your platform we only depend of the forum... for support not so nice..

Don't worry, I am working on a way to serialize/save and backup your projects, but for the moment it is not available. (Soo much to do)

Fixed.

Nothing was lost.
I didn't restore any backup.

I only corrected some JS to do not block on undefined var.
In facts, I think using 2 builders (wich must not be possible, the issue is there), you have broken a FK link or maybe group by property using this key.

So, check very well your project and how the FK are used.

Sorry for inconvenience. And thank you for this notice.

Yeah, but check very well everything, because I had to handle a JS error that shouldn't happens.

A FK is referenced (I think in properties), and do not exist anymore. So you can experience problems in Group By I think.

Anyway, never open the builder in 2 tabs.

I jumped and started to work on a demo component... but 2 days later this demo component became the real component. I just showed today the end result to my customer and he turned to me and said... "this is more than I expected"... All of this is because Cook did cut about 70% of my work and provided me more ways to improve the usability of the component. The end result was 17 tables all related between than to generate a full dashboard for the travel agents. Thanks for Cook developers for such great tool. This component would not be possible to be done at short time with all the features in it
