Is it possible that it doesn't not work anymore with v2.0 ?

+1

My AJAX dropdown no longer appears on the form in version 2.0 either. Here's the source HTML output of the form:
<dd>
<div id="_ajax_countries_groupby1"></div>
  <input type="hidden" value="" class="inputbox " name="jform[region]" id="jform_region">
</dd>
Please note the type attribute set to "hidden" - is this correct?

I seem to have just the usual "jQuery Validation rules not available..." and the "...add localisation files..." errors in console the same as those described here .

Please help!

Despite facing the same difficulties as the original post here, there seems to be no issue in using the ajax filtering (even if required) when project :cheer: is setup from scratch using;
  1. JQuery as JS Framework
  2. Cook V2.0

hope this helps,

VeCrea, are you on 2.0 ?

About the hidden field, it is normal. Everything is loaded trough javascript.
The hidden field is containing the value to post.

Unfortunatly, with the new jQuery validator, the hidden fields are ignored. And this is really annoying.
I try to do my best, but it is not easy. I still do not know how to fix that for the moment.
Coding is now a piece of cake

Awards for the best Joomla app. This product is gonna win an award for this amazing job. Cook Self Service is the the best application from all over the Joomla universe ! It brings Joomla to a professional level really advanced for developers. It is a real fun to develop with it. The ACL part and security checks implementation are just... so much hours saved. I can now concentrate myself more on the design part and the creative works. Thank you so much. Guys I offer you all my congratulation ! Keep up the works because Joomla is needing it to increase the quality of extensions availables on the JED. I also learned a lot because I can see how to code at the proper place and I found all my answers reading the forum.
