However when I try to view the page in the sandbox it just shows a white screen. No errors are reported Any help to know how to debug this would be great thanks Alan

alanw4c Topic Author Offline New Member Posts: 10 Thank you received: 0	So I found the problem I think. I switched from the 2.5 beta back to the basic level and it worked. I'm guessing that the 2.5 beta doesn't support ACL use yet??

Acl are for tasks (view, save, edit, admin, ...) view access levels are on top of the view ACL, for filtering on groups. Coding is now a piece of cake

I've also found that the installed component (built using the 1.4/2.5) version now keeps asking if I want to leave the page every time I hit the back key in the front end of the website.

I found the onbeforeunload handler in the various template files. I thought it might be useful to add it here in case anyone had a similar view issue and reverted to the 1.5 build version. I guess it's a difference between the two.

[FIXED] ACL not working?

I jumped and started to work on a demo component... but 2 days later this demo component became the real component. I just showed today the end result to my customer and he turned to me and said... "this is more than I expected"... All of this is because Cook did cut about 70% of my work and provided me more ways to improve the usability of the component. The end result was 17 tables all related between than to generate a full dashboard for the travel agents. Thanks for Cook developers for such great tool. This component would not be possible to be done at short time with all the features in it
