Hi Jocelyn,

I catched a new issue when playing with an Edit Popup Modal. In the Popup, changing an image failed.
This issue concerned only the Save and Close action. (File upload problem i think).
It works fine with the Save action.

You can test this with my component, Admin / Gestion des chiens.
  • Click on a dog thumbs to Edit the Modal Popup
  • Try to change the image, and Save and Close

When you save an item from a popup, the form request is done in ajax. (For "Save & Close", because it must handle the result and then, close the page)

For files, I still encounter a problem because the ajax request do not handle properly the file upload.
It has been working once, but now again I face this problem.

This is an opened ticket, I will try to fix that, but it is a long work because I need to rewrite a part of the ajax engine.
Coding is now a piece of cake

Ok, thank you for this answer.
It's not a problem for the moment (I was just using Modal Box to quickly save the main properties of a Dog)

good luck for this Fix.

This is what you call a component builder. I was able to master using this in a very short time and the resulting component works like a charm. Not just a basic component builder but a fully working component builder with forms fields tables all ready to go. You can make the list and item views to display in the front and back end. Also there is a great forum just starting to evolve and I'm sure this will grow very rapidly when you all realise how good this tool is.
