uploader as data type 23 Oct 2011 06:06 #303

Hi there,

I'm trying to add an image upload to the item form of my project. I tried to add a string textfield and select "File" in the option. However the result is the same, I just got a plain textfield instead of an uploader.

I would appreciate any help

Thx

Alexandre

There is no uploader for now. The file type validator is just to check the file format string...
.. and for now, we have an opened issue on this, so better don't use now.

Is a file uploader available yet?

Really great Joomla tool Cook is a great piece of kit for creating Joomla components. It uses a drag-n-drop interface to build tables and fully featured pages. You can test your component in a sandbox before downloading it packaged up ready to install. The developer is responsive on the support forum.
