Some Joomla! users doesn't like mootools or simply they want avoid problems with using both libraries in same time ...

Of course...


We are aware of this problem and we think about it, but not as high priority.

For the moment, Cook and JDom are using MooTools.

You can rewrite your custom JDom first,
then, for few functions like formalidator, please manualy rewrite.

Cook always write the same component structure, so just reuse always same files to override your projects.

Let me first state that this is an amazing and fascinating product exactly what I was looking for. In just a few hours (listening to the very well made and clearly understandable videos learning doing) I completed and installed my first component. I am now in the second refining phase. I will make a recommenation in JED. Thanks for the effort in creating such a great product. Incidentally some of the best Joomla extension I use are of French origin !
