I seem to be experiencing to really strange behavior with my component.

I added a FK combo to a form, but it wasn't populating with my list of values. I have another FK field from a different table on the form which is working.

To try and resolve this i uninstalled my component and re-install it but now i have also lost the toolbar buttons for New and Edit.

I've tried the component on two different installs of joomla 2.5 neither made any difference.
I have refreshed the file list and re-built the component and its not made any difference,
I have tried everything in the sandbox and it all works as expected.

Anyone had similar problems or suggestions on what to try?

the toolbar thing isdown to the user not having correct permissions. admin can view toolbars.

FK combo still not showing descriptions though.

Sometimes your lists does not show because you have played with component and some persistant vars are setted up and filter your list.

Did you tried to log out / log in again ?

I've logged in and out from different PC's and browsers a number of times and also re-installed the component a number of times. Non populate my FK combo.

I have tried it with a listbox and nothing is populated.

I have turned on the Joomla debug thing and the working FK combo logs the appropriate SQL query but there is nothing for my problem column.

DOH!

I am a fool...

I forgot i had forked my view.html.php and of course the forked code doesn't have new combo in it
