Hi

I have a problem with a component, where the same table contains multiple views. Whenever I perform an action e.g. save an item, hit publish/unpublish or the like, then after the action has been performed, I'm redirected to the default view for the table, not the current view.

Set up a redirection, because Joomla do not handle the trace of the navigation, so returning back is not possible. The redirection can apply for a paticular TASK coming from a particular LAYOUT.

TODO :
Set it up in the task properties.

By the way, Cook implements a good redirector since 2.0, enjoy it !
Navigation trace... Why not in future ?
Coding is now a piece of cake

Just wanted to congratulate you on the J-Cook website / web development tool. In a couple of visits I've had a play around with Cook and have to say I think it is fantastic.  I've played with a number of component builders in the past and yours is certainly looking like the best so far. I'd also like to help you spread the word - I'm really surprised more people aren't excited about this tool. Good luck with the project.
