High guys,

Just wondered whether anybody has any experience using the builder on iPad and if so, how have you found it?

Now, I believe that there may be some inherent dangers using a touch device in the builder - accidentally changing/deleting something for instance - hence me asking the question. On the other hand, I would like to investigate this further.

I know by default, none of the browsers for iPad will work in the builder however, Mercury has a nice Agent String override feature that allows 'masking' the agent string. This works and I can successfully load a project in the builder. However, what I'm most interested in is whether anyone has managed to do this in Safari iOS? The problem with all browsers other than Safari is that apple doesn't allow 3rd party access to their latest JS rendering engine, making other browsers perform much slower than their native counterpart. This is likely to be magnified in the builder due to it being almost entirely JS driven.

I'd love to hear any experience anyone may have with this.

Many thanks,

Gez

Awards for the best Joomla app. This product is gonna win an award for this amazing job. Cook Self Service is the the best application from all over the Joomla universe ! It brings Joomla to a professional level really advanced for developers. It is a real fun to develop with it. The ACL part and security checks implementation are just... so much hours saved. I can now concentrate myself more on the design part and the creative works. Thank you so much. Guys I offer you all my congratulation ! Keep up the works because Joomla is needing it to increase the quality of extensions availables on the JED. I also learned a lot because I can see how to code at the proper place and I found all my answers reading the forum.
