Hi,

I don't see any implementation of fork for /views/xxx/tmpl

Why ? Is there a way to do it without hacking directly the php file ?

Yes, just copy the folder from the non-fork.
For example, copy /views/yourview/tmpl/layout.php to /fork/views/yourview/tmpl/layout.php and start editing
