Hello,

After 2 'cooking' days, I am trying to create my 1.5 component for Joomla1.7 named Joomla! Breeding Manager , with j-cook. I like your tool a lot ! Awesome !
I had no problem to create all my tables of values, layout of grids and forms, lists and records are OK in Backend.

Now my main table 'Pedigree' has several fields of foreign keys (breed, coat colors, eyes colors, status, sexes, ...).
I think I miss something during the construction of my Table. I tried several thing in Tables and Pages to get something like that :

Help please !

So to do this :
1 - Remove the ID key from the form (State ID > ID)
2 - Open the tree node "State ID"
3 - Drag the "State name" to your form

so I do have miss something, because I ve ever read this but the drag&drop of my field (name value) doen't give a combo at final!

I checked your project.

You must regenerate to see the changes.

Hooo I see !
It means that some cancel operation on Tables needs to regenerate to see changes or impacts on layout forms ?

Regenerate means Click on SandBox Button ?

Yeaahhh !

Thanks a lot for this help, hoping I could progress far away ...

I found "cook" two days ago. Played around with it for a day and then within a day got rid of two legacy applications in IBM Lotus Domino Notes and replaced them with "cook". It was really easy. A piece of cake. Actually it was even easier than cooking. Cooking involves more work than developing with "cook". What can I say about "cook"? Great application great price for what it delivers great forum with a lot of information and fast responses active and friendly community fast forward moving development cycle So what should I say "Monsieur Le Cook"? Keep the good work going it will lead to success. Having become a paying member in the words of Edith Piaf may I say ..... non rien de rien ... je ne regrette rien. Vive La France.
