What is the method for creating a table where the id for the primary key would auto-increment?

All the tables already have an id which is auto-incremented by default.

This field does not show by default.

If you want it to be displayed just drag the root of the table into the grid and you will be able to see it

Thank you for the quick reply. I see what you are referring to. My error was trying to create all database table fields prior to making any form fields. Knowing this now, development should go pretty fast. This is an excellent tool!

I had the same issue when I started.
You can add or remove database fields as and when you need them and update the forms as you go.

Takes a little getting use to but I agree it's a great tool, and getting better all the time.

Don't forget to add [SOLVED] to the title of your first post if your happy it is resolved

Just wanted to congratulate you on the J-Cook website / web development tool. In a couple of visits I've had a play around with Cook and have to say I think it is fantastic.  I've played with a number of component builders in the past and yours is certainly looking like the best so far. I'd also like to help you spread the word - I'm really surprised more people aren't excited about this tool. Good luck with the project.
