Is there a quick way to change the Cook Egg icon in the backend while creating the component in Cook? V2.

Thanks,
Geoff

please see: www.j-cook.pro/forum/12-new-functionalit...nu-a-title-icons#625

To change the images in the menu, you'll need to load the file: /administrator/components/[your_component]/[your_component].xml

In there, you'll find a an <administration> tag in which you'll find a <menu img> tag with a link/path to image as well as several <submenu> items (1 for each of your backend views.

To change both page and menu icons, I would recommend overwriting the images with your own - i.e. keeping the same file name and location so you can just upload them and not worry about renaming/linking anything.

Menu builder will come, but patience.
Coding is now a piece of cake

Although I found this tool some time ago I just started learning experimenting and building this first component on Monday and now on Thursday afternoon it's already online. Although I already had a working version done with another tool this is much easier to build and at the end you have the freedom to own your own component. Once you know how to use Cook you will boost your productivity as the learning curve is really moderate compared to many other tools.
