I am trying to implement something very similar to the Continent > Country > City example shown on the "Releases" page (www.j-cook.pro/news/releases where it says "1.4.14 Say it in Ajax")

I am not able to reproduce similar results with the builder. Is this example possible with the builder alone, or do I need to code after to get the Ajax functionality to work.

Would it be possible to share a copy of the example component so I can see how it can be done?

Basically I want to populate one FK field, then several others where the possible selections are based (filtered) on the previous FK field.

Thank you,
P

I jumped and started to work on a demo component... but 2 days later this demo component became the real component. I just showed today the end result to my customer and he turned to me and said... "this is more than I expected"... All of this is because Cook did cut about 70% of my work and provided me more ways to improve the usability of the component. The end result was 17 tables all related between than to generate a full dashboard for the travel agents. Thanks for Cook developers for such great tool. This component would not be possible to be done at short time with all the features in it
