I created component with jCook , and in sandbox i can upload file, and when i test it in local server with XAMPP (PHP versions 5.3. i have this error :

Mime type not valid (application/force-download), allowed Mimes are application/pdf :

Can you help me please ...

Lot of topic are treating on this.

Globally it is not a Cook Issue.

check your PHP, and if you can't get rid of it, remove the Mime detection.
