Creating LOGS whenever an action (Save, Edit, Dele 24 Feb 2014 13:36 #12237

Hello! After 2 months of hard work in creating a component for my client, I am now in the final considerations!. This is thanks to the wonderful generator J-cook. First of all I want to once again thank you for this great service!.

On the subject of this topic, doubt was already well clear!.
I need register in database, (LOGS), whenever it the actions (Edit, Save, and Delete) are called on the component forms.

I'm trying to figure out where these calls are in the scripts so I can interceptalas to and include this routine, but I'm not having success in discovering where these routines are being called. Please someone could give me a strength to exclarecer this question?
Thank you!

@etc. Thanks for sharing this doc.

The events are only catchable from plugins.
This is really good, but also ennoying when you want to use plugins inside the component.
FoF breaks this limit, and so soon, you gonna be able to use plugins insiode the component
Coding is now a piece of cake

Although I found this tool some time ago I just started learning experimenting and building this first component on Monday and now on Thursday afternoon it's already online. Although I already had a working version done with another tool this is much easier to build and at the end you have the freedom to own your own component. Once you know how to use Cook you will boost your productivity as the learning curve is really moderate compared to many other tools.
