So 'out the box' J-Cook modal windows do not work.. at all

I have tried to implement remote loader bootstrap code, but this stops the CANCEL / SAVE buttons working properly

Has anyone successfully had the J-Cook modal windows working in a Bootstrap 3 template (i.e T3 framework)

Bootstrap 3 is not supported by Joomla. So Cook cannot do it.

The problem comes from a css conflict in the 'modal' class.
If you want it in the front-end, you can maybe edit JDom for achieving that.

If you find a good workaround, you can propose it and let's see if it is possible to integrate.
Coding is now a piece of cake

Hi Morgan,
Yes - I work with my own custom Bootstrap 3 templates (hoping one day soon Joomla will catchup  ).

So for now, I run all my JCook specific pages with the protostar template (which is normaly just used by administrators) - and I create BS3 modules to show that data on the public pages (which uses the BS3 template).

I'd be interested to know how others are coping with BS3.
Just call me Chris :)

Time to create page: 0.104 seconds

Although I found this tool some time ago I just started learning experimenting and building this first component on Monday and now on Thursday afternoon it's already online. Although I already had a working version done with another tool this is much easier to build and at the end you have the freedom to own your own component. Once you know how to use Cook you will boost your productivity as the learning curve is really moderate compared to many other tools.
