So one of my views (film) has an FK select table which pulls in data from another table (mediafiles) and I see this in the prepareQuery function
$this->orm->relation('mediafiles', array(
                    'select' => 'filename'
                ));
However this field needs to be filtered. I need this dropdown to ONLY show values from mediafiles where
associated_film IS NULL
created_by = logged in user

Ideally, this field will pull in data from context
mediafiles.choosemedia

in the mediafiles model which has the correct data, but it just seems to pull from the all context

I have tried adding filters, contexts, nothing works

Can someone put my out my ORM misery please
