My project is coming together well. Great tool!

I'm having trouble working out the following:

When creating a menu item for viewing a specific record, I see that the "Default" field is displayed in the selection popup. When I assign the selection, the view is attached to the record ID. e.g. &cid=157...

Is there a way to attach the record to another field? In our case the record ID will be changing as we update our data. I would like to use a different field as the key. e.g. &myfield=44

Is this possible?

Thanks,
Geoff

Edit the modal_grid.php of the concerned item and change the table header (<th>) and the column (<tr>) references to point at the field you want to display.

That should be it.

Hope it helps,

Gez

The j-cook project is one of the best of its kind and it is nice that we all try to contribute in little ways to make life easy for each other.
